I am an absolute admirer of this epitome of a hotel. This is by far one of my most favourite hotels in the world. I love staying in this place a home from home. The rooms are large and the garden is to die for. In the hustle and bustle of the noisy city of Dhaka this is an oasis. The service and the attentiveness of all the staff are so praiseworthy.. You are bound to feel like a quintessential Maharaja of the old Dhaka of the 17th or 18th century. if you are going to coming to Dhaka - stay here and feel the intricate Bengali Hospitality. Thank you guys for making our few stays so comfortable.

A lifetime Favourite
I have been going to this place for the last 25 years. Just went there a couple days ago again. Found the old gaffer is back the Chowdhury's.
The new chef cooked some mouthwatering lamb - dal - aubergine and vegetable pilau rice. simply outstanding.
