শীতের রাতের চাঁদরে ঢাকা জনপদ 

কোলাহল বিহীন সিক্ত লোকালয় 

মখমল এর লেপের কাভারে শৈত প্রবাহ 

হাত ছুঁয়ে যায় উষ্ণতার স্পর্শে 

নীরবতাই স্নিগ্ধ অনুভূতি 

আড়মোড়া ভেঙ্গে নিদ্রা বিদায় 

কুয়াশায় অস্পষ্ট তারা গুলো 

বাগানের ছাউনি তে জ্বলছে সৌর কুপি বাতি 

পর্দা সরিয়ে তাকিয়ে দৃষ্টি সীমাবদ্ধ 

সীমান্ত চৌকির রাতজাগা প্রহরী যেন ​

The blanket of cold submerged the promenade 

silenced dew soaked cul de sac

satin cover of the duvet evaporates warmthy chill

the fingers touches the fragrances of silence of love 

muscles stiffed awaken sleep

the stars obscured in the mist of fog

the garden shed exhumes solar lambs light 

drapes are undrawn to view circumscribed sight

sleepless hawk sentry defending as if the periphery
